Privacy Policy

The short version

The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. If you turn on Live Activities or match alerts, it sends an Apple-issued push token, the team you choose to follow, and which alerts you've enabled to its own small server so it can deliver the right alerts. Separately, it sends anonymous crash and performance reports (Apple's own diagnostics) to that same server to help fix bugs. That's the whole list — and the website collects nothing about you.

What the app collects

A push token, only when you opt in. If you start a Live Activity for a match or enable goal / half-time / full-time alerts, iOS issues an anonymous Apple Push Notification service (APNs) token for your device. The app sends that token to its own small push server so it can deliver score updates and alerts. The token is a random identifier issued by Apple — it is not your name, email, phone number, Apple Account, or device serial, and it cannot be used to identify you personally.

The team you follow, when alerts are on. When you enable match alerts, the app also sends your chosen favorite team (a short code like “usa”) and which alert types you've turned on (such as goals, half-time, and full-time) to the push server, so it sends only the alerts you asked for about the matches you care about. These are preferences, not personal information, and are not linked to your identity. Your other app settings (such as display options) stay on your device.

Anonymous crash & performance diagnostics. If the app crashes or runs poorly, iOS prepares an anonymous diagnostic report (via Apple's MetricKit — crash logs and performance metrics, no personal content) which the app sends to the developer's own server to help fix the problem. There is no third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK involved.

That is the entire list. The app does not collect your name, contacts, location, photos, health data, browsing history, or advertising identifiers, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.

How this data is used & stored

The push token, your followed team, your alert choices, and the diagnostic reports are stored on a private, self-hosted server (a personal Mac) run by the developer, used solely to deliver the live scores and match alerts you asked for through Apple's APNs and to fix bugs. None of it is ever sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or data brokers, and it is not used to build any profile of you.

A token is automatically discarded when it stops working — for example when you delete the app, turn the feature off, or Apple rotates it. You can remove it at any time by turning off Live Activities / alerts in the app or in iOS Settings, or by deleting the app.

Live scores & data sources

To show fixtures and live scores, the app requests publicly available sports data from third-party sources (including ESPN's public endpoints and the open-source openfootball schedule). These are ordinary outbound requests for match data; the app does not send any personal information to them. Their own privacy practices are outside the developer's control.

Children

The app is a general-audience sports companion and is not directed at children, and it knowingly collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will change with it. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
