The quickest way is Settings > Send Feedback in the app. It opens your own email app with the app version, iOS version, and device model filled in, which helps track down a bug.
Alerts do not arrive
- Alerts start off. Turn them on in Settings > Alerts & Live Activities, then pick a sport.
- Check that notifications are allowed for HC Sports in the Settings app, under Notifications.
- If you set Quiet hours, only your favorites' games can alert you during those hours.
- For one game only, open the game and tap Alerts for this game.
Live Activities
- Open a game and tap Follow on Lock Screen. The button appears from one hour before the start until the final.
- Live Activities cover baseball, football, basketball, hockey, and soccer.
- If nothing appears, check that Live Activities are allowed for HC Sports in the Settings app.
Widgets are empty
Widgets show your favorites, so pick one first: Settings > Pick your favorites, then a sport and a team. Then add the widget from the Home Screen.
Scores or news will not load
Scores, news, and alerts need an internet connection. Pull down on the page to load it again. The archive of past seasons is stored in the app and works offline.
Your data
The app has no accounts, ads, or tracking. To delete what the app's server keeps, turn off every alert and news follow in the app, or delete the app. The full details are in the privacy policy.
